Mojo Summer School

Mo Said (the founder of Mojo Supermarket) came to me with a request — “Hey, can you make this short movie inspired by an old, iconic Bollywood movie that wraps up our summer internship program?”. For someone who has never stepped on a film set, let alone directed one, this was a daunting and scary ask. Thankfully, I had a great crew that trusted me to make my directorial debut!

We made a short film that introduces all our interns who worked at Mojo Supermarket over the summer. I took inspiration from the opening sequence of the 1978 Bollywood film, Don.

My role:
I directed the video. I also did the editing, VFX, sound design, typography and graphic design for the movie.
