‘We Are Born Ready’ Animation

The podcast "We Are Born Ready" showcases the talented female soccer player Deyna Castellanos. This animation, created as part of Nike's "We Are Born Ready" podcast series, highlights Deyna's journey and the challenges she faced as a young soccer player.

Our team utilized a unique blend of mixed-media techniques, including hand-painted frame-by-frame animation, to bring Deyna's story to life. The result is a dynamic and inspiring piece that highlights the strength, determination, and skill of female athletes. Join us as we celebrate Deyna's achievements and explore what it means to be "born ready."

My Role: 
I was a 3D animator on this project. I worked on the animations, materials and lighting for some of the shots, and the 2D team painted frame-by-frame on top of my reference video.
